Student Accommodation

Fees and charges for students enrolled at James Cook University (JCU) are as follows:

Weekly Rental	$260/week for 1-2 persons / couple, OR $290/week for 2 people sharing with a second single bed supplied
Rental Bond	$800 per apartment OR $400 each person if both names on lease & bond documents

• All amounts shown are in Australian Dollars
• A rental bond of $800 is payable upon acceptance. The bond is fully refundable upon departure if there is no damage to the apartment.
• Rental periods are for 3 months or more.
• The above prices include electricity and air-conditioning.
• A non-refundable cleaning fee of $150 will be payable in to cover the cost of having the apartment and professionally cleaned upon departure.
• Linen packs are $9.50 per fortnight per person. A clean set is provided every 2 weeks when you bring your old linen into reception.
• Wireless Internet is available for approximately $39.50 per month.
